The RapidSpellWebLauncher tag is a simple component used to output HTML specific to your setup (i.e. the textbox name to check and the URL of the popup checker).  Provided that the popup JSP/servlet page is still running on the application server, you can use the launcher from a static page.  To do so, copy the attached HTML/Javascript block, and paste on the page with your textbox.

Note that there are two parts that you need to edit for your particular setup:

Find and edit "myForm.sourceTextBox" in the block and change it to .
Find and edit "RapidSpellCheckerPopUp.jsp" in the block and change it to the popup's JSP or servlet path.
