Create a folder within your project that will hold the index files.
Set the IndexDirectory property of the SearchResult control to the path of the folder that will store the index files.
The following only applies if the Control based usage has been adopted, for Javascript based usage please use the Index Management Tool from the Windows Start menu. For details on installing the controls, please see the 'Installation' section of the Help documentation.

You can specify a different Index Directory to work with, otherwise click next to use the current one.
a. 'Type of source' should be set to 'Website'.Once the import has completed or 'Stop' has been selected, click the 'Server Error Log' button to show the Reader Error Log which has details of URLs that couldn't be requested. This is provided for information only and may not effect the search.
b. Enter the Start URL of the site you would like to import.
c. Click 'Import' to begin crawling and indexing new links.
Searches can now be performed from any page containing the SearchBox.
