By specifying your own custom logic in an assembly (plug-in) the search engine can be further customized and/or extended.

Select the Plug-in tab from the Index Management Tool. Click "Change Plug-in Path" and select your plug-in dll. A message confirming whether the plug-in initialized correctly or failed to initialize will be shown.
A blank plug-in project can be created for you, ready to customize and extend the search engine as required. Enter the path of a folder to create the project in. If the folder does not exist it will be created automatically.
