About the Javascript mode usage

Where possible Keyoti recommends using the newer Javascript mode of usage, rather than the ASP.NET Web Controls, for the following reasons:

• Automatically supports any HTML platform, such as Web Forms, MVC, Razor, AJAX, ASP, HTML etc etc. All HTML platforms allow the use of Javascript.
• Faster AJAX based user experience
• Additional features such as custom data filters and sorting

Even if Javascript development is not a developer strength, usage is straightforward enough that it should not be a problem - plus it's a good way to learn!
