Hi Jim,

We have implemented Rapid Spell Check in our application that is built on Struts 2.0 framework. The Spell Check method is called on blur of Text Area. When focus is taken out of Text Area, the misspelt words are underlined, but the text area gets shrunk only to accomodate the words typed.

Below is the Code implemented.

Could you please let us know the reason for the same and possible solution to this.

Hi Guna, it's probably something about a CSS rule on the page that's doing it. That can be tricky to identify (you can do it with F12 by looking at the computed style in the element inspector, and see where the size (of the overlaying DIV) is coming from.

To rule out the styles it would be great if you could reproduce the problem in a minimal page, ideally without even struts if possible. And then post the entire page content or send to me via support at keyoti.com

Thanks for the page - it looks to be a problem specific to IE7 when you use the RapidSpellWInline tag (as opposed to the RapidSpell-AYT.js script approach).
