hi,

i am using spell check and i have three input elements two textboxes and one HTML rich text editor (tinymce)

i am facing issues when special characters like (£ or ₤) or The © symbol, for 'Copyright' is being used and spell check popup is not recognizing these symbols and they are represented as blocks in spell check popup.

I am wondering it might happen for other special characters too.

Can you please provide me fix to deal with these issues as we are frequently using special characters in our application for currency and for other relevant research related statistics.

It appears to be OK for me in my test. Most likely for you the issue is with text encoding. Probably an encoding mismatch between the main page and the popup.

Can you send me your web.config, the page with tinyMCE on it and the popup.aspx (its probably in our Keyoti common folder in your app)? You can attach here or mail to me via support @ keyoti.com
