We are using a 3rd party medical dictionary that adds words like the following:

Endoscopy
endoscopy

I assume this is to indicate that 'Endoscopy' within a sentence should not be considered a mistake. We are having an issue with how this impacts the suggestions word list. Typing 'endoscopiey' will correctly show both 'endoscopy' and 'Endoscopy'. However, typing 'Endoscopiey' will result in 'Endoscopy' appearing on the suggestion list twice.

I duplicated this by creating a simple text file the two words listed above. I then used the DictManager to merge that file into the base RapidSpell US dictionary. The result was then set as the DictionaryPath for the control.

Not a critical issue, but it does generate support calls from our users so we would like to resolve if possible.

Thanks.

Which version are you using? I believe this may have been fixed at some point.

Thanks

Ah, I had intended to add that info...

We are using the TxTextControl version: Keyoti.RapidSpell.NET2.TXSupportv22.dll (5.3.15.704)

I've patched it to stop this, please download new DLL
https://keyoti.com/downl...l.NET2.TXSupportv22.zip

You may need to go to the file->properties and press the Unblock button, in explorer.

That file appears to be the same version as what we already have in our Keyoti installation. Visual Studio's Tools.DiffFiles also indicates they are the same file. Same version, file size etc. Did you attach the correct file?

Dropping it into my test app does not resolve the issue.

I downloaded it several times to confirm I had the correct download.

We also have a product using Keyoti.RapidSpell.NET2.TXSupportv17.dll (5.3.15.704). Can we get a fix for that version as well?

Thanks.
