Hi,

We are using Winform and WPF rapidspell components in our application. We want to share dictionary file data among two different instances of two spell component during runtime. We pass same file path to DictFilePath property.
Is it possible to reduce memory usage?

Please let me know if you need more information.

Thanks,
Manoj Patel

Hi Manoj, I'm unsure if you mean that you want to share the dictionary between the WPF and Winforms controls, or if you mean you want to share the dictionary between RapidSpellDialog and RapidSpellAsYouType (in both platforms).

If it's the latter, then RapidSpellDialog and RapidSpellAsYouType already do this in the current version, do you know which versions you are using?

If you mean the former, then sorry the WPF and Winforms versions were not expected to be used in the same app. and therefore cannot share data.

Best
Jim

Thanks Jim. In my application, we have winform controls where we used Winforms versions Rapidspell component (Keyoti.RapidSpell.NET2 5.1.13.1208) and have used WPF Rapidspell (Keyoti4.RapidSpell.WPF 3.1.14.402) for WPF controls. Just I am checking for any possibilities to reduce memory usage of loading dictionaries by separate controls.

Thanks,
Manoj
