Hi,

1.
on Page_Load Event of an "Example1_Simple/default.aspx" page, value of an indexDirectory assign as
configuration.IndexDirectory = @"D:\test\TestApplication\Keyoti_Implmentation\CM\Uploads\IndexDirectory".

in this case "IndexDirectory" folder is not in a root directory of an application, created inside Uploads folder.
it indexes all files from a path, which is mention in a "ImportFileSystemFolder" function.

but when enter a character in "searchengine:searchbox" control of an "Example1_Simple/default.aspx" page for searching a result, it gives an error "an exception occur on the server : Directory holding D:\test\TestApplication\Keyoti_Implmentation\CM\IndexDirectory\configuration.xml does not exist and need to created first."

2. how to set an indexDirectory Path programmatically for "searchengine:searchbox" control of an "Example1_Simple/default.aspx" page.
