We have an applications that have many Swing text components, some require English spell checking, and other French spell checking.

To optimize memory utilization, what do you recommend in order to share a single copy of English dictionary among all English components, and a single copy of French dictionary among all French components?

Does the concept of "shared dictionary" support separate English shared directionary and a separate French shared dictionary??

I'm afraid that this isn't possible, because the shared dictionary sits in a static field, sorry.

To minimize memory though, we definitely suggest that you use as few instances of RapidSpellAsYouType - which means calling the setTextComponents property so that it checks multiple textboxes.

Best
