Hello,

We have a problem with Keyoti4.RapidSPell.WPF component.
It has been registered and it does work, after a fashion.
However, almost every keypress on a control that Keyoti is checking generates a first chanse exeption - System.ComponentModel.LicenseException

Every character takes a noticeable delay to appear and output window will keep printing these exceptions for quite some time after I've finished typing.
When I disable the component, the slowdown disappears - so there are no problems with my code.

Component details:

Reference dll: Keyoti4.RapidSpell.WPF v2.0.10.909
licsenses.licx file - in properties folder, build action set to "Embedded resource". Content:
Keyoti.RapidSpell.Wpf.RapidSpellAsYouType, Keyoti4.RapidSpell.WPF, Version=2.0.10.909, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=58d9fd2e9ec4dc0e

Environment:
.NET 4.0 WPF project, VS 2010, Windowx XP Pro SP3, x86
No direct internet acess - possible problem with CRL check timeouts?

Thanks,
Harri Koppel

Hi Harri, firstly, please note that I will move this post to the RapidSpell WPF forum once you've read my post and replied, so look there after your next post please.

Thanks for the report, but unfortunately I can't reproduce it. I verified that I can see first chance exceptions in my output window, but don't see any for the licensing.

1. Does the same thing happen in our demo project for you?

2. I assume there's a typo in your post, the file name should be licenses.licx.

3. Perhaps try adding this to your licenses.licx file

Keyoti.RapidSpell.Wpf.RapidSpellChecker, Keyoti4.RapidSpell.WPF

4. We don't license over the internet, it's self contained.

Am very interested in how this resolves so please let me know.

Thanks
Jim

Thanks Jim,

2) Filename is indeed licenses.licx
3) Adding the following line to the licenses.licx "Keyoti.RapidSpell.Wpf.RapidSpellChecker, Keyoti4.RapidSpell.WPF" has solved the issue
