We have implemented rapid spell. If we pass into the spellchecker a string that contains an ampersand within a word e.g. 'B&Q blah blah' the spell check ends at the &(ampersand). Clearly this is unworkable as this ultimately ignores any spelling mistakes after the & symbol. If the & character has a space either side its no problem e.g. 'B & Q blah blah' Is this a known issue ?

Hi, which version are you using? Also, how are you using the spell checker (are you spell checking strings or text boxes)?

Do you have IgnoreXML set true? If so, it will think that & is the start of an entity, so it should instead be & amp; (sorry there isnt intended to be a space between the ampersand char the 'amp;' but the forum is not happy for some reason...) in your string.
