Hi all,

I've enhanced some accessibility features on component. However, in Internet Explorer, when there are no spelling errors, my Screen Reader (JAWS 15) is not be able to read the "alert" generated by the component. I believe it happens because the alert is generated before the DOM is formed. Is there any way to handle with this issue? It is possible to capture the event listener that fire this alert?

Kind Regards

Pablo Darde

Hi Pablo, it's shown after the onload event fires, so the DOM should be ready. However it is called from the popup, not from the main page, if that makes a difference?

Are you using v5? If so, you can enable the jQuery DIV based dialog, that might make a difference (see the jQuery section here https://keyoti.com/produ...mples/JSmode/Dialog.htm )

Otherwise, I can show you how to handle the finished event, but it is fired for 'no errors' and regular 'spell finished', and there is no way to determine the difference at the moment.

Best
